Senior Cloud Engineer

Location: Remote, United States; compensation is based on the employee’s primary work location and applicable federal, state, and local wage laws.

Annual salary: $133,200–$199,800, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and deep cloud engineering expertise to Cloud Engineers and product development teams.
• Develop, maintain, automate, and orchestrate AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud platforms and services.
• Establish and enforce source control, branching, CI/CD, infrastructure, and configuration management practices.
• Enhance platform services with Terraform, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, and Packer.
• Build reliable services with architects and product teams within Agile processes.
• Support major programs, project leadership, reporting, and financial governance for cloud operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of enterprise server administration experience with Linux and/or Windows.
• 4–6 years of experience developing production applications or Infrastructure as Code deployment pipelines in a public cloud environment.
• 4–6 years of DevOps and platform engineering experience for commercial applications.
• 4–6 years of scripting or development experience with Bash, PowerShell, Python, and JSON.
• 4–6 years of experience with configuration management tools such as Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Salt.
• Expertise in logging and observability solutions, including OpenTelemetry, Splunk, Graylog, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience leading teams.
• AWS or Azure Solution Architect, Developer, or Administrator certification.
