What you will do
- Manage and optimize within air-gapped U.S. AWS cloud regions.
- Design and develop proprietary deployment tools, analytics, and processing routines to increase flexibility.
- Collaborate with the Federal Cyber Defense team to maintain security posture and compliance.
- Oversee the installation and support of operating systems, databases, and network-related tools.
- Coordinate across commercial software engineering teams to ensure robust and scalable platform solutions.
Requirements
- United States citizenship (naturalized or native) is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (Active TS/SCI w/CI Poly preferred).
- 4+ years of experience deploying large-scale applications, including 3+ years in AWS or GCP.
- 2+ years of experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Python, Go, Chef, and Puppet.
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and CI/CD build management and monitoring.
Nice to have
- DoD 8570/8140 compliance with IAT Level II certification (e.g., CompTIA CySA+, GICSP, CASP+).
- Experience with network analysis and troubleshooting using tools like tcpdump.
- Strong scripting expertise in Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum practices using Jira.
