Project Safety Advisor

Location: Nolan, Texas, United States; full-time on active construction sites

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 per year plus bonus; restricted stock units included in all offers.

What you will do

• Own site-wide health, safety, and environmental programs for hyperscale data center construction projects.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs covering trenching, crane operations, scaffolding, and heavy equipment.
• Partner with prime contractors to implement safety programs and deliver required documentation.
• Track incident rates, near misses, and leading safety indicators.
• Lead safety oversight during electrical commissioning and the transition to live power environments, including UPS, switchgear, and generators.
• Audit contractor safety programs, lead weekly safety meetings, and maintain emergency response plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in heavy industrial construction safety, such as oil and gas, power generation, or large-scale manufacturing.
• Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or OSHA 510.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and NFPA 70E, including arc flash boundaries and PPE selection.
• Ability to work full-time on active construction sites, walk long distances, climb ladders, and work outdoors in varying conditions; participation in the drug and alcohol program is required.

Nice to have

• CSP, ASP, GSP, or CHST certification.
• Experience supporting data center construction or commissioning.
• Experience with Procore or SafetyCulture/iAuditor.
