Collections Analyst II (Credit and Collections)

Location: Hybrid schedule in Lincolnshire, Illinois, United States

Salary: $54,640–$81,960 annual, plus a target annual cash incentive of 5% of base pay.

What you will do

• Manage, maintain, collect, and reconcile an assigned accounts receivable portfolio of strategic accounts.
• Review account status and approve or deny pending customer orders.
• Interface with customers to procure payment and resolve claims, disputes, short pays, and other account concerns.
• Manage credit lines, special customer billing, credit memo requirements, and letters of credit where applicable.
• Assess bad debt accounts, recommend third-party collection or legal action, file bankruptcy claims, and negotiate workouts or settlements within policy.
• Coordinate cross-functionally and cross-regionally, maintain collections reporting, and complete departmental projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of commercial credit, collections, or equivalent customer-facing experience.
• Strong PC skills, including current Microsoft Office applications such as Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and AI tools.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, research, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work on a hybrid schedule in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
