Software Engineer, Lead (Java)

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native technologies.
• Implement complex architectures with enterprise architects and contribute directly to development.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into reliable technical solutions aligned with business priorities.
• Own critical components and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical leadership.
• Apply testing, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and observability practices.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node, REST APIs, real-time streaming architectures, and microservices.
• Experience delivering cloud-native applications on AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, relational and NoSQL databases, Kubernetes, and containerization.
• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, version control, DevOps tooling, monitoring, and observability platforms.
• Strong ownership, collaboration, communication, testing, and code-quality practices.

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech or other highly regulated enterprise-scale environments.
• Exposure to LLM workflows or integrating ML models into production systems.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other scalable messaging and streaming technologies.
