What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 5 developers, including 1:1s and performance reviews.
• Own the full lifecycle of a subset of 300+ RESTful microservices, from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Contribute hands-on code and personally complete technical tasks.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce high coding and architectural standards.
• Mentor team members and lead the hiring process for new developers.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience leading software projects and developer teams.
• 5+ years of professional experience in modern Java programming with a focus on clean code.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring technologies, including Spring Boot.
• Solid understanding of microservice architectures and AWS services (ECS, SQS/SNS, EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch).
• Excellent communication skills to balance ideal API design with practical business requirements.
