Area Manager, Fleet Safety

Location: Terrell, Texas, United States; onsite at 591 Apache Trl

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 per year, plus potential performance bonuses and regional pay adjustments.

What you will do

• Support transportation offices in fleet safety operations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and other applicable safety standards.
• Train and coach drivers to improve performance and safety.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
• Analyze safety data to identify root causes and apply corrective solutions.
• Create data visualizations and safety dashboards for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet safety standards.
• Experience in driver training and coaching.
• Strong data and digital literacy, including the ability to analyze data and develop insights.
• Ability to manage and implement technology solutions that improve safety processes.
• Either a bachelor's degree in occupational safety management, environmental science, traffic safety, transit safety, or a related field plus 2 years of relevant safety experience, or 4 years of traffic safety experience.
• Two years of experience with continuous improvement methodologies in supply chain or transportation maintenance environments.

Nice to have

• Safety certifications such as Associate Safety Professional, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, or related credentials.
• Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and OneDrive experience.
• Knowledge of environmental policies and procedures.
