What you will do

• Design, build, and operate large-scale, secure, and highly available AWS cloud platforms.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation for cloud infrastructure and application workloads.
• Design and operate Amazon EKS or ECS clusters at scale.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, observability, monitoring, and alerting for cloud-native environments.
• Partner with application, security, and SRE teams to deliver resilient cloud-native solutions.
• Drive continuous operational improvement with a pragmatic, cost-aware approach.

Requirements

• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience, including 3+ years focused on AWS in production environments; the position listing also specifies 6+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
• Production-grade experience with Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation, plus CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills, along with knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, key management, compliance, and observability.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States as U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or H-1B transfer candidates.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, centralized governance, service mesh, eBPF-based observability, or zero-trust networking.
• FinOps and well-architected cost-optimization experience.
• Experience operating HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, or FedRAMP workloads.
• Familiarity with Go or PowerShell.
