Director, Integration Communications

Location: Chicago, Illinois, or Downers Grove, Illinois, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Base salary: $187,000–$312,500 per year, with possible discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Own the enterprise integration narrative, messaging architecture, communications strategy, and calendar across integration waves and milestones.
• Advise Global Transformation Office leaders, workstream leads, and acquired-entity leadership on sensitive integration communications.
• Create executive communications, town hall content, leadership briefing packs, talking points, manager guides, cascade kits, and Q&A materials.
• Design communications journeys for acquired entities and manage intranet, email, newsletter, and collaboration-platform channels.
• Coordinate messaging with Change Management, People & Culture, Legal, Risk, Brand, Marketing, Growth, and regional teams.
• Measure communication effectiveness, improve playbooks and templates, and build a communications function and team as integration volume scales.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification is a plus.
• 10+ years of internal, change, or transformation communications experience, ideally in professional services or a partnership-led environment.
• Experience communicating through M&A, integration, or large-scale operating model change, including sensitive workforce and organizational messaging.
• Ability to advise and write credibly for senior executives, partners, acquired entities, and employees across multiple regions and cultures.
• Experience working within enterprise transformation or PMO governance models, shared roadmaps, RAID logs, and reporting standards.
• Exceptional writing, editing, stakeholder-management, judgment, and communication skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and communications or intranet platforms.
