Software Engineer (Java/Cloud)

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable solutions for complex distributed banking systems.
• Develop and operate JVM-based microservices across the full software development lifecycle.
• Build RESTful APIs and event-driven services using Kafka and related technologies.
• Deploy production-grade microservices on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Write clean, reliable, maintainable, and performant code supported by unit, integration, and functional tests.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decisions, delivery excellence, and system availability.

Requirements

• Strong Java development experience with Spring, particularly Spring Boot 3.x; Java 21 or higher is preferred.
• Experience with test-driven development and testing web services at unit, integration, and functional levels.
• Experience with Kafka, event-driven architecture, SQL databases, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and deploying cloud-based microservices using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment, with build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
• Strong communication skills and experience delivering software in an Agile Scrum environment.
