What you will do

• Design and develop scalable Java applications.
• Use AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bus, to build and deploy cloud-based solutions.
• Design and maintain database schemas, write SQL queries, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Develop and maintain batch processing systems for large data volumes.
• Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and adherence to standards; identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and developers, and support junior developers through knowledge sharing and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer in a product development or services environment.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bus.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including SQL and performance troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with batch processing frameworks and tools.
• At least 2 years of Python experience.
