What you will do

• Develop and modernize performant microservices and components aligned with business needs.
• Collaborate with product owners and developers to shape implementation approaches and ensure smooth integration.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and manage service operations in Kubernetes on AWS.
• Utilize AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining rigorous code quality.
• Support monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana to ensure production stability.
• Demonstrate work impact to stakeholders and participate in team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework 6+ and Spring Boot 3+.
• Proven ability to build REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and RDBMS/ORM frameworks.
• Solid understanding of OOP fundamentals and event-driven architecture.
• Commitment to test-driven development and writing maintainable unit tests.
• Must be based in or able to work from the London office.

Nice to have

• Development experience with Kotlin.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Experience with caching, message queues, and containerization.
• Background in building web systems for high-traffic environments.
