Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst (AI)

Location: Edinburgh or Bristol, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least two days per week or 40% of time in an office

Salary: £72,700–£80,780 per year

What you will do

• Develop and deliver advanced analytics and Generative BI solutions for business decision-making.
• Use GCP, BigQuery, and large-scale datasets to identify actionable commercial insights.
• Build semantic models and self-service analytics capabilities for conversational and AI-enabled insight experiences.
• Partner with Savings, Pricing, Product, Platform, and Analytics stakeholders to translate priorities into analytical solutions.
• Present complex analysis through clear stories, recommendations, dashboards, and visualisations for technical and senior audiences.
• Support emerging AI capabilities, responsible data practices, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience delivering analytics, business intelligence, or data science solutions in a commercial environment.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms, particularly GCP and BigQuery.
• Experience solving business problems with data, identifying opportunities, and influencing decisions.
• Experience developing dashboards, semantic models, reporting, or self-service analytics using Looker, LookML, and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Python, advanced analytical techniques, data governance, responsible AI principles, and analytical best practice.
• Strong communication and data storytelling skills, plus experience with Generative BI, conversational analytics, or AI-enabled insight solutions.
