Senior Analyst

Location: Hub-based in Bristol, Glasgow or London, with flexibility to work from home

Salary: £46,800–£55,000 per year, plus a 15% on-target bonus and 9% Flex Pay.

What you will do

• Design management information and performance reporting that clearly communicates business trends, drivers and bottlenecks.
• Build automated processes, dashboards, visualisations and reusable performance views from trusted, governed data sources.
• Select suitable platforms and ensure data is available, scalable, accurate and accessible to stakeholders.
• Partner with Product and the central Regulatory team to prepare data for new functionality and deliver accurate regulatory reporting.
• Monitor data connections, resolve failures and coordinate with the appropriate owners when issues arise.
• Lead analytical deep dives, workshops and collaborative sessions, presenting insights and recommendations to different audiences.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a similar analyst role, with broad experience of teamwork and cross-functional engagement.
• Advanced SQL skills, including analytic/window functions, CTEs and subqueries.
• Understanding of normalisation, indexing, transactions, locking, partitioning, processing performance and error handling.
• Ability to construct data-driven narratives, create effective visualisations and communicate insights to senior leadership.
• Experience solving complex data problems, identifying business drivers and trends, and translating analysis into recommendations.
