Medication Nurse - LPN (Addiction Treatment)

Location: Woodbury, Minnesota, USA; onsite clinical treatment center. Schedule: 5:30 AM–2:00 PM, Monday–Friday, plus rotating Saturdays.

Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour plus bonus structure.

What you will do

• Administer methadone as prescribed and observe patients for treatment response.
• Screen and assess new and existing patients to support appropriate treatment decisions.
• Collect and document urine specimens, monitor lab work and physicals, and maintain accurate dosing records.
• Manage medical supply inventory and handle medications in accordance with DEA regulations.
• Prepare courtesy and vacation dose packages and help maintain regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with counselors and nursing staff, mentor new team members, and continue developing clinical skills.

Requirements

• Active LPN license in the state of Virginia required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment involving prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and frequent computer use.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment when required and work around potential bloodborne pathogens.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities, think critically, make decisions, and work independently and collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing equipment, centrifuges, physical assessment tools, breathalyzers, and other clinical devices.
• Experience with data entry, standard office equipment, and electronic medical records.
• Phlebotomy certification or willingness to earn it when required.
