Medication Nurse - LPN

Location: On-site in Savannah, Tennessee, USA

Salary: $21.00/hour plus potential quarterly bonus

What you will do

• Administer prescribed methadone safely and observe patients' responses to treatment.
• Screen, evaluate, and assess new and existing patients throughout their recovery journey.
• Collect and document urine specimens, monitor laboratory work and physicals, and maintain accurate dosing records.
• Manage medical supplies and medications in accordance with DEA regulations, including preparing courtesy and vacation dose packages.
• Support regulatory, licensing, and accreditation compliance in the treatment center.
• Collaborate with counselors and nursing staff, including onboarding and mentoring new team members.

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment involving patients with substance use disorders and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Nice to have

• Experience in chemical addiction treatment.
• Knowledge of medication dispensing equipment, centrifuges, physical assessment tools, breathalyzers, and other clinical devices.
• Strong data entry, computer, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with electronic medical records and standard office equipment.
