Identity Security - PKI Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; on-site presence required.

Annual salary: $105,300–$148,660 USD.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Public Key Infrastructure solutions.
• Lead certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and revocation.
• Automate PKI-related tasks and integrate PKI with security, infrastructure, DevOps, identity, PAM, and application platforms.
• Develop and enforce certificate policies, standards, and security best practices.
• Monitor PKI infrastructure health, availability, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot certificate chain validation, CRL/OCSP configurations, encryption, and signing issues; provide documentation, guidance, and training.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, cybersecurity engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information systems, or a similar discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience designing, deploying, and managing the lifecycle of PKI solutions.
• Knowledge of key-length standards, hashing algorithms, X.509 certificates, OCSP, and certificate management protocols.
• Experience integrating PKI with Active Directory, identity, and PAM solutions.
• Business travel may be required as needed.

Nice to have

• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access.
• Experience with DoD security implementations such as STIG and security management tools.
• Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, Windows and UNIX scripting, Microsoft SQL Server, and web technologies.
