Identity Governance Engineer (IAM)

Salary: $68,500–$91,400 per year, plus eligibility for the company incentive plan.

What you will do

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain SailPoint IdentityIQ environments, including custom workflows, rules, connectors, and Joiner/Mover/Leaver lifecycle logic.
• Build automated provisioning, deprovisioning, access governance, RBAC, and certification workflows.
• Integrate SailPoint with Entra ID, Active Directory, Workday, ServiceNow, Exchange, and other enterprise systems.
• Architect secure, scalable IAM solutions aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
• Manage IAM systems through development, testing, deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, IT, and HR while contributing to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ development experience, including rule, workflow, connector, XML, and BeanShell customization.
• Strong Java programming skills and experience designing, building, deploying, and optimizing IAM or software solutions.
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting SailPoint with Entra ID, Active Directory, ServiceNow, Exchange, and Workday.
• Knowledge of identity lifecycle management, RBAC, access governance, REST/SOAP APIs, SAML, and SCIM.
• Familiarity with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Ping Identity, Okta, and Azure AD, plus Linux/Unix and PKI authentication.
• Experience with Jenkins and Ansible is preferred; security certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or CCSP are also preferred.
