Technical Solutions Architect (Cloud/AI)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Define end-to-end architectures for enterprise applications across application, integration, data, security, and infrastructure layers.
• Translate business and technical requirements into reference architectures and target-state designs.
• Lead architecture review boards and establish reusable principles, patterns, and technology selection guidelines.
• Design integrations across SaaS, on-premise, and hybrid environments using APIs, event streaming, and managed integration platforms.
• Guide cloud migration, modernization, and re-platforming initiatives while optimizing cost, performance, resilience, and technical debt.
• Mentor engineering teams, support proofs of concept, engage platform vendors, and ensure regulatory, audit, and data governance compliance.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• U.S. Citizens, Green Card Holders, EAD Holders, or H-1B transfer candidates may apply; new H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture, including enterprise architecture across two or more major cloud platforms.
• Strong expertise in integration patterns, API design, event-driven architectures, identity, security, data governance, scalability, resilience, and cost optimization.
• Deep familiarity with at least one enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Workday, plus experience presenting architecture artifacts to senior leadership.

Nice to have

• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or GCP architecture certification.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, or HCM transformation programs.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with LeanIX, Ardoq, or Sparx EA.
• Experience with cloud governance, FinOps, and cost transparency initiatives.
