Principal Cloud Solution Architect (Cloud)

Location: US remote; applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

Salary: $138,000–$179,670 per year.

What you will do

• Partner with enterprise clients to understand business objectives, application portfolios, and technology strategies.
• Design secure, scalable cloud solutions across Azure, AWS, GCP, hybrid-cloud, and cloud-native environments.
• Lead discovery sessions, solution workshops, pre-sales engagements, and RFP responses with executive and technical stakeholders.
• Build modernization roadmaps and guide large-scale cloud migrations, application modernization, DevOps adoption, and infrastructure transformation.
• Advise senior IT leaders, mentor architects, and contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence.
• Track emerging cloud technologies, market trends, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. is required.
• 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, enterprise infrastructure, application modernization, or technical consulting.
• Current Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud certifications.
• Experience leading complex cloud transformation and migration projects in customer-facing, consultative roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, automation, governance, and enterprise-scale hybrid-cloud architecture.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and executive stakeholder engagement skills.

Nice to have

• Cloud security and governance, DevOps, CI/CD automation, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Serverless computing, API Management, cloud-native application development, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Data and AI platforms, enterprise networking, and cloud connectivity.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker, Chef, or Puppet.
