Senior Software Architect (AI/Cloud)

What you will do

• Advise government leadership as the primary technical subject matter expert on enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, enterprise platforms, and modernization proposals.
• Develop technical strategies, project plans, pilots, and prototypes for production-ready enterprise capabilities.
• Produce architecture documentation, technical white papers, executive briefings, and recommendations.
• Guide ServiceNow Enterprise Agile Planning, dashboards, reporting, workflows, and agile planning activities.
• Architect collaboration portals and knowledge-sharing solutions using technologies such as SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Google Cloud, and AI-enabled capabilities.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, software architecture, technical consulting, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant technical certification from a nationally recognized certification authority.
• IT-II Security Clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency, or the ability to meet applicable security requirements.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems integration, cloud technologies, and software solution design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical writing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Department of Defense or Defense Logistics Agency environments.
• ServiceNow experience, including dashboards, workflows, reporting, and Enterprise Agile Planning.
• SAFe methodologies and agile program execution experience.
• Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, or Power Platform experience.
• Experience with digital transformation, business process improvement, AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, technical white papers, or executive presentations.
