Senior Consultant, Portfolio Insights Technical Enablement

Location: Remote within any of the lower 48 U.S. states; office location listed as Des Moines, Iowa.

Salary: $138,000–$206,000 expected starting annual range; national range of $138,000–$243,000.

What you will do

• Facilitate the development, maintenance, and operation of analytical monitoring dashboards, generally using Power BI.
• Translate ambiguous cross-portfolio business questions into structured analytical outputs and executive-ready insights.
• Build and maintain business intelligence applications, reports, data visualizations, and ad hoc analytical solutions.
• Partner with internal teams to use trusted data and connect analytics efforts across Property, Casualty, and Financial Lines.
• Lead financial and operational measurement projects, including scope, timelines, risk and control matrices, and assignments.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and technical lead for business leaders, internal partners, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Typically 10 or more years of experience in data visualization, financial and operational measurement, and data extraction queries.
• Strong data synthesis skills in low-structure environments and experience working with large structured and unstructured datasets and databases.
• Advanced dashboarding and analytical tooling experience, including Power BI and SQL.
• Ability to translate complex analytics and business problems into clear solutions for executive and non-technical audiences.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, business, mathematics, or a related field; postgraduate studies are preferred.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or a related industry is preferred.
