ServiceNow Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Define enterprise ServiceNow architecture across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, GRC, and custom applications.
• Lead architecture reviews, design approvals, governance, platform upgrades, and release planning.
• Establish standards for data models, custom tables, scoped applications, CMDB design, workflows, and Flow Designer.
• Drive CMDB strategy, discovery, service mapping, identification rules, and data quality programs.
• Architect integrations using IntegrationHub, MID Servers, REST/SOAP APIs, and event-driven patterns.
• Design platform security and ACL strategies, improve performance and scalability, and mentor developers, administrators, and technical leads.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of ServiceNow experience, including significant architecture or technical leadership experience.
• Deep expertise across multiple ServiceNow modules, including its data model, scripting, scoped applications, and platform internals.
• Hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, REST APIs, CMDB, discovery, service mapping, platform security, ACLs, upgrades, and release planning.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and architecture documentation skills; ServiceNow CTA, CIS, or CSA certification.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect credential.
• Experience with Now Assist, GenAI Controller, or other AI-driven ServiceNow features.
• Experience with multi-instance or multi-region deployments and integrations with Workday, Salesforce, or SAP.
• Familiarity with HAM Pro, SAM Pro, or App Engine Studio.
