Principal Cloud Solutions Architect (Hyperscaler)

Location: Remote within the United States; preference for candidates in EST or CST time zones. Listed locations include Morrisville, North Carolina; Boulder, Colorado; Atlanta, Georgia; San Jose, California; New York, New York; Houston, Texas; and Nashville, Tennessee.

Salary: $223,550–$289,300 annual OTE, including base salary and potential commission.

What you will do

• Qualify customer opportunities and identify strategic workloads suited to hyperscaler cloud adoption.
• Design end-to-end cloud architectures using hirify.global services and first-party hyperscaler cloud storage services.
• Lead technical presentations, workshops, demonstrations, architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and validation engagements.
• Advise enterprise customers on cloud modernization, migration, AI, analytics, enterprise applications, and data platforms.
• Collaborate with hyperscaler sales, technical teams, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success.
• Develop reusable technical assets, provide field feedback, maintain opportunity forecasts in Salesforce, and mentor other Cloud Solutions Architects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of relevant industry experience, including 8+ years in a customer-facing Solutions Architect, Cloud Architect, Technical Sales, or equivalent role.
• At least five years of experience with hyperscaler infrastructure providers such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migrations, modernization, production workload adoption, strategic customers, and executive stakeholders.
• Professional-level hyperscaler architecture certification is preferred or expected during onboarding; advanced architecture certifications are strongly desired.
• hirify.global ONTAP and broader hirify.global portfolio experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Certifications in networking, security, DevOps, FinOps, databases, AI, or related disciplines.
• Experience rapidly developing expertise in new first-party cloud storage services.
