Equipment Project Manager (HVAC)

Location: Augusta, Georgia, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work Monday through Thursday and a flexible work location on Fridays.

Annual base salary: $60,000–$86,169.99, with incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Plan and manage HVAC equipment projects, including scope, schedules, procedures, and complex equipment applications.
• Coordinate with building owners, mechanical contractors, subcontractors, field support staff, and other trades.
• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and communicating project updates.
• Compare equipment ship dates with contractor schedules and follow internal equipment ordering processes.
• Manage project budgets, forecasted cost at completion, schedules, milestones, equipment orders, purchases, and start-up work orders.
• Manage project cash flow through progress billing, collections support, monitoring, and resource planning.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business or equivalent plus at least two years of project management, equipment, HVAC, or related experience; or at least four years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature-control equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, work independently, and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• A four-year degree is not required; practical experience and relevant skills are valued.
