Elevate Accounting Advisor (Automotive)

Location: Chicago (Green St), Illinois, United States; requires travel to client sites across the United States up to 75%.

Compensation: Bonus and/or commission eligible.

What you will do

• Travel to automotive repair client sites and assess accounting, financial reporting, and operational workflows.
• Analyze financial statements, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes.
• Identify process gaps and design optimized future-state accounting and operational processes.
• Create project plans, monthly action plans, goals, milestones, owners, and success metrics.
• Lead client insight meetings, monitor KPIs, deliver training, and support adoption of standard operating procedures.
• Develop accounting playbooks, workflows, training resources, and client-facing deliverables while coordinating with internal account teams.

Requirements

• Experience in accounting, finance, business advisory, consulting, or operational improvement.
• Strong knowledge of chart of accounts, accounting systems, financial statements, profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow, receivables, payables, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing project plans, action plans, strategic initiatives, presentations, reports, and training materials.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness and ability to travel to client locations nationwide, up to 75%.

Nice to have

• Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting systems.
• Automotive, collision repair, insurance, or related industry experience.
• CCC ONE experience.
• Familiarity with Tableau.
