What you will do

• Assess patients and design, implement, and evaluate individualized physical therapy programs.
• Provide therapeutic exercise, therapeutic activities, manual therapies, modalities, education, and home exercise guidance.
• Coordinate care and communicate patient plans with physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, health coaches, and other staff.
• Document patient services in the electronic medical record and schedule follow-up appointments, screenings, and tests.
• Deliver injury-prevention, body mechanics, ergonomics, safety, and wellness education at the client worksite.
• Support evidence-based training, community health initiatives, and outreach to employees at elevated risk of chronic disease.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited university.
• Current license from the state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
• At least 3 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist.
• Current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation requirements and electronic medical record software in accordance with state, federal, and APTA guidelines.
• Outpatient experience with adolescent and adult populations.

Nice to have

• Ergonomic training, certification, or experience.
• Experience presenting educational materials to multiple levels within a client organization.
