Location: Fairbanks, Alaska, at a Medical Treatment Facility near Eielson Air Force Base

Relocation assistance is available up to $27,500, less applicable taxes. An annual retention bonus of up to $18,250 is paid at the end of the first year of employment.

What you will do

• Provide physical therapy services within the clinical privileges granted by the Military Treatment Facility.
• Evaluate patients and prepare written treatment programs.
• Deliver manual exercises, soft tissue mobilization, traction, and functional activities.
• Instruct and motivate patients in mobility, daily-living activities, and the use of assistive devices.
• Document treatment, patient responses, and progress in clinical records.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other clinical staff and provide prevention, wellness, screening, and health education activities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in physical therapy, or a bachelor's degree for graduates before January 1, 2002.
• Graduation from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
• Experience sufficient to meet service-specific clinical competency and credentialing requirements.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted physical therapist license.
