Sr Import/Export Supervisor (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead global transportation operations across parcel, air, ocean, and ground modes.
• Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and 3PL providers through SLAs, scorecards, and corrective actions.
• Oversee shipment tracking, exception management, customs clearance, and transportation performance KPIs.
• Manage import and export compliance, including HTS and ECCN classification, customs valuation, AES filings, export licensing, restricted-party screening, and destination controls.
• Maintain shipping documentation, records, internal controls, audit readiness, and responses to government inquiries.
• Drive process improvements, system integrations, reporting, testing, training, and governance across SAP ERP, Oracle GTM, and global logistics operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Business, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience combining global logistics operations and import/export trade compliance.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. trade regulations, including CBP, BIS/EAR, and OFAC, plus international customs practices.
• Expertise in logistics management, freight optimization, customs entry processes, and compliance documentation.
• Hands-on SAP ERP experience; Oracle GTM familiarity is a plus.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-tech, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries.
• Experience with Oracle GTM.
