Manager - Spares (Semiconductor Equipment)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required up to 10% of the time.

Salary: $171,500–$236,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop suppliers to meet required capabilities, processes, capacity, and quality standards for spare parts.
• Lead supplier quality improvement activities, including Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen events, and supplier audits.
• Manage Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance, including annual operating plan budgeting, launch dates, and cost-reduction targets.
• Direct employee development and set priorities and resource allocation across multiple related teams.
• Build cost-reduction, cost-avoidance, and supply-base improvement initiatives with internal cross-functional departments and suppliers.
• Drive resolution and escalation of supplier engineering issues related to vendor performance.

Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of the relevant job family and related functions.
• Knowledge of the semiconductor equipment industry.
• Experience applying quantitative, statistical, and risk analyses to direct and indirect costs.
• Understanding of Six Sigma and continuous improvement processes.
• Ability to resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems and influence internal and external stakeholders, including senior management.
