What you will do

• Originate, acquire, and market residential mortgage loans.
• Build and maintain referral relationships with Realtors, builders, financial planners, and local professionals.
• Develop marketing strategies to generate new mortgage business.
• Structure loans using lending programs, agency and investor guidelines, and applicable federal and state requirements.
• Provide knowledgeable member service and cross-sell additional credit union products and services.
• Review loan documentation accurately and thoroughly.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
• Proven external sales experience is required.
• Ability to build and maintain high-quality referral networks and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong understanding of agency and investor guidelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively; a college degree is preferred but not required.
