What you will do
- Work with borrowers to understand homebuying needs and recommend suitable loan products and services.
- Communicate loan status, respond to borrower inquiries, and provide guidance by phone, email, and other communication tools.
- Analyze borrower information to assess pre-approval and loan feasibility.
- Interview borrowers and obtain or verify required information and documentation.
- Coordinate internal loan-team efforts, resolve application issues, and support timely processing.
- Manage social media presence and analyze business metrics to improve efficiency and achieve company goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of current or previous Loan Officer experience in the mortgage industry.
- Ability to source all business independently; no company-provided leads are available.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, adaptable, and capable of working with urgency.
- Ability to learn and follow company and industry mortgage guidelines and processes.
