Superconducting Systems Specialist (m/f/d)

What you will do

• Specify, calculate, and design assemblies and systems for superconductivity, cryogenics, and vacuum technology.
• Oversee manufacturing, commissioning, and testing activities.
• Procure subsystems, components, and technical tools.
• Prepare technical documentation and project files.
• Manage complex international high-tech projects within a project team and report to project and department management.
• Coordinate technical communication with clients, project partners, and suppliers.

Requirements

• Degree in physics, process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of professional experience.
• Professional experience in superconductivity, cryogenics, and vacuum technology.
• Proficiency with simulation software and strong analytical skills.
• Experience in project management, strong communication skills, willingness to travel, flexibility, resilience, and team spirit.
• Good written and spoken English is required.
