What you will do

• Own and drive safety and compliance activities for all ground infrastructure systems, adhering to site-specific and international standards.
• Lead HAZOPs, risk assessments, and safety reviews across multiple projects to identify and mitigate risks.
• Guide the design, selection, and validation of safety-critical components and safety PLC-based architectures.
• Define safety processes, documentation standards, and best practices for consistent application across projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to integrate safety considerations early in the project lifecycle.
• Plan and track safety deliverables and set technical goals aligned with product and business needs.

Requirements

• Degree in mechanical, industrial, chemical, aerospace engineering or a similar field.
• 8+ years of extensive experience in process safety, plant and environmental safety.
• Deep understanding of HAZOP, FMEA, and risk assessment methodologies in highly regulated industries.
• Expertise in safety standards such as IEC 61508/61511, ISO 13849, and SIL/PL classifications.
• Proven track record of decision-making and managing interfaces with external suppliers and certification authorities.
• Fluent in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with CE marking, ATEX, UL, or comparable certification frameworks.
• Knowledge of cryogenic systems, high-pressure systems, or hazardous fluid handling.
