What you will do

• Design fluid systems for test and launch facilities, including engine test-rigs and launch pads.
• Perform sizing calculations and numerical simulations for cryogenic and high-pressure gas systems.
• Select and procure fluid hardware such as tanks, pumps, valves, and instrumentation.
• Prepare technical documentation, including PFDs and P&IDs.
• Lead system design reviews and risk assessments.
• Support commissioning and hands-on site operations during test and launch campaigns.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in aerospace, mechanical, process/energy/chemical engineering.
• 0 to 5 years of professional experience.
• In-depth knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Basic knowledge of high-pressure gas and cryogenic liquid systems.
• English: Fluent (C1) required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work from Ottobrunn, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with modeling and simulation software such as EcosimPro, Python, or Matlab.
• Hands-on experience with piping assembly, commissioning, or testing operations.
