Autonomous Vehicle Operations Specialist (Autonomous Vehicles)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States — onsite. Weekend, early morning, evening, and holiday work may be required according to site operating hours and project needs. Expected travel is 0–10%, with occasional travel to other sites.

Salary: $50,000–$55,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Monitor and support autonomous vehicles in real time while ensuring compliance with rigorous safety guidelines.
• Track site performance metrics, maintain vehicle operation records, and collect autonomy performance feedback for engineering teams.
• Identify technical problems, test software changes with a safety focus, and coordinate timely resolutions with engineering.
• Train and coach autonomous vehicle operators through team huddles, video reviews, and ride-alongs.
• Investigate accidents, incident escalations, and customer complaints while representing hirify.global to the public.
• Coordinate daily operational logistics and provide coverage or support at other sites when needed.

Requirements

• Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, judgment in ambiguous situations, and ability to learn new software and processes.
• Experience leading processes and driving continuous improvement in a fast-adapting, customer-focused environment.
• Previous experience at a technology-focused company.
• Experience with Google Workspace applications, including Gmail, Sheets, and Docs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, stand for prolonged periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and adjust working hours as required.

Nice to have

• Leadership experience in a fast-adapting, customer-focused environment.
• Associate degree or higher in Business, Technical Operations, or a related field.
• Experience in operations, logistics, or fleet management.
