Engineering Technician II (T2) - Weekend Shift

Location: Austin, TX, United States; weekend shift. The role is physically demanding, may require cleanroom work, and is not relocation eligible.

Salary: $21.50–$29.20 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform routine to moderately complex testing, checkout, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Test and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, subsystems, and components.
• Support new system and NPI installations, field upgrades, rework, and quality notifications.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, vacuum, and process testing according to engineering and manufacturing specifications.
• Compile logbooks and test-procedure documentation using clear written communication.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment.

Requirements

• Analytical skills and the ability to apply scientific methods to technical activities.
• Ability to read and work from schematics, diagrams, layouts, plans, and written or verbal descriptions.
• Ability to recognize and solve typical problems using established procedures or scientific methods.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, climb, work in tight spaces, use hand and power tools, and lift equipment.
• Ability to distinguish colors and work around noise; forklift or heavy-machinery operation may be required.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including cleanroom garments, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
