Engineering Technician II (Bioprocessing)

Location: Bridgewater, NJ, United States; onsite

Salary: $27.25–$39.16 per hour, plus potential variable cash compensation and eligible equity

What you will do

• Execute product qualification and verification tests from setup and configuration through teardown, data storage, and reporting.
• Perform first-pass troubleshooting and isolate mechanical, electrical/electronic, hardware, fluidic, optical, and system integration issues.
• Support investigations for pilot, production, and released-product issues escalated from Manufacturing, Quality, or Production.
• Manage tooling, fixtures, accessories, laboratory equipment records, availability, calibration impacts, and check-in/check-out controls.
• Create and revise assembly instructions, test procedures, and troubleshooting guidance under engineering review.
• Support prototype, pilot, and production process development and provide feedback on repeatability and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Associate degree, technical certificate, or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in product testing, laboratory work, engineering technology, manufacturing support, instrumentation, or electromechanical systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical/electronic hardware.
• Ability to interpret drawings, schematics, work instructions, and test protocols and to execute standard protocols independently.
• Experience with laboratory instrumentation, fixtures, soldering, oscilloscopes, and multimeters.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Jira, and Confluence, with consistent application of ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
