Software Engineer III - Fullstack (AI)

Location: Onsite at the Bentonville, Arkansas office, United States; not eligible for remote work.

Salary: $90,000–$180,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Create, develop, and own monitoring frameworks interfacing with multiple applications.
• Support application features, service launches, automated deployments, and multi-tenant solutions.
• Build and maintain applications using AI tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
• Develop automation for repetitive tasks and improve incident prevention, detection, and resolution.
• Monitor systems, produce analytics and ad hoc reports, and provide accurate information for business decisions.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams, and provide on-call support.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
• Must work full time onsite at the Bentonville, Arkansas office.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, plus relevant software engineering experience, or four years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Four to nine or more years of relevant experience.
• Programming expertise with Java 8 and Spring Boot 2.0, plus strong Python proficiency.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data, caching and messaging tiers, monitoring tools, and cloud or container platforms.

Nice to have

• Retail experience, especially warehouse management operations.
• Ecommerce experience.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
• Master’s degree in computer science.
