What you will do

• Develop tools and applications to automate manufacturing processes and standardize benchmarks.
• Design, implement, and deploy enterprise-scale systems supporting operations.
• Build machine connectivity and data pipelines using MTConnect, OPC UA, MQTT, integrated with MES/ERP/QMS/PLM.
• Leverage AI technologies like LLMs and computer vision to enhance automation and innovation.
• Create web applications and APIs for scheduling, dispatching, redlining, and issue resolution.
• Adopt DevOps: containerize services, automate deployments, ensure observability and reliability.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Science, Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.
• Primary proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Java.
• Proven full-stack experience with React, Python, FastAPI, AWS, Spring Boot, Node.js.
• Experience with AWS services (IoT Core, Lambda, EKS/ECS), Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven messaging (MQTT, Kafka).
• Cloud expertise, GitOps, IaC (Terraform), APIs, SQL/databases.
• U.S. work authorization: citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
• Strong collaboration, ownership; experience mentoring juniors and factory software development.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with spaceflight systems.
• Understanding of ERP, MES, QMS, PLM for digital thread integration.
• Interest in IIoT, AI/ML, data engineering for manufacturing.
