Staff Software Development Engineer - Full Stack (AI)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States. Candidates must be a U.S. Person—a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, Asylee, or Refugee.

Salary: $105,000–$140,000–$154,000 annually for positions within Colorado. The role is incentive eligible.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack applications using Java/Spring Boot, Vue, and Python/FastAPI.
• Own features end to end, from engineering specifications through production deployment and ongoing support.
• Build and operate cloud-native applications on AWS with Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Develop secure, scalable REST APIs in line with software engineering standards.
• Apply AI across the agentic software development lifecycle for implementation, code review, testing, debugging, and documentation while validating outputs.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Systems Engineering, Solution Architecture, and other cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience developing cloud-native software applications.
• Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot, Vue, React, Angular, PostgreSQL, and Python/FastAPI.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, modern software design, Agile development, and engineering best practices.
• Demonstrated experience as a U.S. Person is required for eligibility.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, GCP, or multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, spec-driven development, AI agents, engineering automation, or AI-enabled developer workflows.
