Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location: Onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, or Chicago, Illinois, USA

Salary: $140,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, configure, troubleshoot, and implement ServiceNow applications and services.
• Translate business requirements and processes into technical solutions across platform, ITSM, HRSD, and SPM applications.
• Build ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, AJAX, JSON, AngularJS, web services, XML, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Design and implement integrations with enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, JDBC, MID Server, Integration Hub, APIs, and Workflow Data Fabric.
• Optimize platform performance and scalability while improving the user experience.
• Create technical documentation, train stakeholders and end users, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow platform experience covering administration, scripting, and development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, orchestration, MID Servers, scoped and global applications, and CMDB/CSDM.
• Experience with REST API, SOAP, JDBC, Integration Hub spokes, plug-ins, and Store applications.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITIL v4/v5 foundational certification, either active or obtained within the first three months.
• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and Certified Application Developer certifications, or completion within the first three months.

Nice to have

• Advanced ServiceNow certifications, including CIS in ITSM or SPM, or ArchX.
• Governance, performance tuning, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git experience.
• Experience with App Engine Studio, UI Builder, data modeling, and table design.
