Sr Mgr, Workday Platform Engineering

Salary: $184,500–$258,000 total cash range; performance-based pay may reach up to $295,000.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of 10–12 Workday engineers, integration developers, and platform specialists.
• Own the delivery and operation of Workday capabilities across HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Payroll, Security, Reporting, Prism, Extend, and Integrations.
• Define and execute the Workday platform roadmap with business and technology stakeholders.
• Promote platform reliability, security, performance, scalability, governance, and operational excellence.
• Lead large-scale implementations, enhancements, releases, and transformation initiatives.
• Identify AI opportunities that improve user experience and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Workday, HR technology, enterprise applications, or platform engineering.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
• Deep expertise in Workday architecture, configuration, integrations, security, reporting, and platform operations.
• Experience leading Workday implementations, transformation programs, or optimization initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, strategic planning, and Agile delivery skills.

Nice to have

• Workday certifications in HCM, Integrations, Security, Payroll, Prism, Extend, or related modules.
• Experience integrating Workday with SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams and aligning technology investments with workforce and business strategies.
