Customer Performance Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; customer-site travel of up to 35–50% is required.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical point of contact for integrators and customers using hirify.global systems.
• Monitor system performance and identify improvements to uptime, reliability, throughput, and availability.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex operational and technical issues.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions and support escalated incident resolution.
• Guide maintenance practices, software upgrades, system optimization, and partner maintenance-team training.
• Analyze operational data and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve recurring issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in or interest in industrial automation, robotics, material handling, controls, maintenance, or reliability engineering.
• Knowledge of SQL, database systems, and basic networking.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations, including occasional nights and weekends.
• Ability to travel up to 35–50% and explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with or interest in Git, Docker, and Node-RED.
• Ability to read and understand C++, C, Python, JavaScript, and/or Java code.
