Applications Engineer (Robotics)

Location: US (Remote); Central Florida preferred. The role includes travel to customer sites for installations, programming, and validation.

Salary: $80,000–$120,000 annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Partner with sales and customers to design robotic solutions for novel applications and provide technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
• Own customer installations end-to-end, including travel, setup, programming, and field validation.
• Create sample code, application notes, white papers, and other technical enablement materials.
• Collaborate with in-house engineering to test and refine product features and integrations.
• Develop marketing collateral that communicates the value of hirify.global solutions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with electrical, software, and mechanical systems, including DC power and NPN/PNP concepts.
• Ability to write Python scripts and navigate CAD tools such as SolidWorks.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial automation environments.
• Experience with production or assembly environments, including cycle times, uptime, safety standards, and equipment integration.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences, plus the ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Must be based in the US; Central Florida is preferred. Visa sponsorship is not available.
