TL;DR
Senior Service Technician II (Robotics) (electromechanical systems and humanoid robots): Supporting service operations for commercially deployed humanoid robots through troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, and maintenance at a factory site with an accent on mechatronics, root cause analysis, and service process improvement. Focus on coordinating with operations, engineering, and production teams, tracking repair performance and parts, and maintaining reliable service delivery against customer SLAs.

Location: Onsite at the Salem, Oregon office; all roles are U.S.-based

Salary: $60,000–$78,000 USD annually

What you will do

  • Troubleshoot and repair humanoid robots and their peripherals.
  • Support service operations and compliance with customer Service Level Agreements.
  • Perform root cause analyses and support cross-functional improvement projects.
  • Gather service and product-quality metrics and improve repair and refurbishment processes.
  • Create and maintain training materials, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, and production on maintenance schedules, parts consumption, repair tracking, testing, and performance management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED; a two-year technical degree or military equivalent is preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical systems; mechatronics experience is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, hand and power tool skills, and the ability to interpret technical documents.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a factory environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Sheets/Docs and/or Microsoft Excel/Word, with the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Current authorization to work in the United States is required; the role is onsite and may require overtime on weekdays and occasional weekends.

Nice to have

  • Technical associate degree or equivalent military training.
  • Technical assembly or repair experience with autonomous robotic systems.
  • Experience with MES, ERP systems, VKS, Infor, Jira, or Confluence.
  • Experience with project improvement methodologies, Google Suite, Linux, or high-volume factory manufacturing.
