Guidewire Solutions Engineer (Guidewire)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $125,000–$155,000 annually

What you will do

• Configure, integrate, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite products, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Develop hands-on solutions in Gosu and configure Guidewire product models, rules, and data models.
• Design and build Guidewire integrations using messaging, batch processes, and plugins.
• Deliver features and upgrades on the Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into reliable solutions with product, engineering, operations, business analysts, and subject-matter experts.
• Conduct code and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least five years of Guidewire development experience; six or more years of overall experience preferred for the position.
• Deep expertise in Gosu programming, the Guidewire data model, product model, and rule design.
• Hands-on customization experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Experience building Guidewire integrations and strong SQL skills, including knowledge of the Guidewire database schema.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Guidewire ACE certifications.
• Experience with Guidewire Cloud upgrades, Digital portals, DataHub, or InfoCenter.
• Insurance domain expertise across property and casualty lines.
• Experience with reinsurance, policy administration, or claims modernization programs.
