TL;DR
Cybersecurity Project Manager (Cybersecurity/RMF): Managing cybersecurity project activities for Air Force ISR enterprise IT modernization and technology integration with an accent on RMF, authorization, compliance, and secure system implementation. Focus on coordinating ISSOs/ISSMs and technical stakeholders, tracking risks and compliance gaps, and integrating security requirements across development, testing, authorization, and fielding.

Location: On-site in Hampton, Virginia, United States, at Headquarters Air Combat Command (HQ ACC/A26), Joint Base Langley-Eustis. Occasional CONUS travel may be required.

Salary: $135,000–$145,000 annually.

What you will do

  • Provide senior cybersecurity project management support for Air Combat Command ISR enterprise IT modernization, system integration, and technology implementation.
  • Incorporate cybersecurity, RMF, assessment and authorization, and compliance requirements into IT projects from initiation through fielding and sustainment.
  • Coordinate with ACC/A26 stakeholders, ISSOs, ISSMs, system owners, technical teams, operational users, and senior government stakeholders.
  • Manage security plans, POA&Ms, A&A workflows, ATOs, patch management, IAVAs, FISMA tasks, and cybersecurity reporting.
  • Maintain project schedules, action trackers, risk registers, milestone plans, compliance dashboards, and executive status reports.
  • Identify security gaps, RMF challenges, integration issues, and mission risks, then recommend mitigation strategies and prepare decision-support briefings.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility/access (TS/SCI) is required.
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Program Management, Business, or a related field.
  • More than 10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, RMF, enterprise IT project management, systems integration, ISR IT modernization, or DoD mission systems implementation.
  • Experience managing security projects involving RMF, A&A, ATOs, POA&Ms, vulnerability management, compliance reporting, or cybersecurity governance.
  • Strong understanding of security requirements across the system development lifecycle and experience coordinating with technical, operational, and cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Experience with ISR, C4ISR, intelligence IT architectures, cloud environments, enterprise applications, or DoD mission systems is highly desired.

Nice to have

  • PMP, PgMP, Agile, Scrum, ITIL, CISSP, CISM, Security+, CAP, CGRC, or an equivalent certification.
  • Significant cybersecurity, RMF, or enterprise IT security project management experience as a substitute for certification.
