Senior Information Systems Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, United States; onsite role

Annual salary: $130,000–$270,000, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Support information assurance programs for programs, organizations, systems, and enclaves.
• Coordinate and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies.
• Maintain the operational security posture and perform day-to-day security operations.
• Evaluate security solutions for compliance with classified information processing requirements.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessment analysis for certification and accreditation.
• Manage security configuration changes and prepare SSPs, risk assessment reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related discipline, plus 12 or more years of related experience; additional experience may substitute for the degree.
• At least 7 years of experience as an ISSO supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or IAT Level III, such as CASP, CISSP, or Associate.
• Direct hire only; third-party staffing and recruiting firms are not considered.
