Cyber Strategy & Management Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance at least three days per week at a hirify.global office or client site.

Base salary: $161,920–$202,400 annually, with potential discretionary annual bonus based on individual and firm performance.

What you will do

• Lead and perform cybersecurity capability, threat and risk, security architecture, compliance, regulatory, and system configuration assessments.
• Evaluate and help establish organizational cybersecurity strategies, programs, controls, and target-state roadmaps.
• Develop strategic recommendations and consultative guidance to improve clients’ cybersecurity technologies, processes, and capabilities.
• Manage client engagements from planning through fieldwork, reporting, remediation, and final delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with client management, gather information, resolve issues, and communicate recommendations.
• Maintain current knowledge of cybersecurity trends and risks while contributing to professional development and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least five years of related cybersecurity experience in a consulting practice or similar function.
• CISSP, CISM, GIAC, cloud security, or another related professional certification.
• Experience reviewing security architecture and assessing or implementing secure configurations across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, threat and risk assessments, regulatory remediation, and industry frameworks including NIST CSF, CRI Profile, ISO 27001/2, NYS DFS 500, PCI-DSS, CIS Controls, and CIS Benchmarks.
• Strong project management, analytical, organizational, communication, and client relationship skills; ability to manage multiple engagements and travel as needed.
